About Us
Like honey, women are often reduced to what they provide—sweetness, care, and service—without recognition of the depth, strength, and brilliance behind their creation. But just as honey is the result of precision, resilience, and purpose, so is womanhood far richer than the roles it has been confined to.
We are women’s rights activists on a mission to challenge limiting narratives, restore dignity, and awaken a fuller understanding of women as powerful, purposeful, and co-heirs in shaping the world.
I grew up in an African household where traditional expectations of womanhood shaped much of everyday life. From an early age, I was often assigned domestic responsibilities—cooking, cleaning, and caring for the home—while my brothers were given more freedom. Whenever I questioned this difference, the answer I received was simple: “because you are a woman.”
That response stayed with me.
As I grew older, it raised deeper questions in me about identity, purpose, and fairness. Those questions intensified when I came across Genesis 2:18 and began wrestling with what it means that woman was created as a “helper.” At first, it deeply unsettled me, especially in light of my lived experiences and what I had been taught about gender roles.
That tension marked the beginning of a much deeper journey.
Over time, what started as frustration turned into sincere exploration—of Scripture, of history, and of God’s heart for women. I began to revisit what I thought I knew and search for what God actually says about identity and purpose. That journey has challenged the cultural assumptions I grew up with and reshaped how I understand womanhood.
This space is where I share what I’ve learned along the way: reflections, discoveries, and the unfolding story of what it means to understand true womanhood, the way it was meant to be.
